Eben Leigh is a newly self-published author from Pittsylvania County, VA. He graduated from Danville Community College with an Associates of Arts and Science in Liberal Arts, and is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Arts in English with a double minor in History and African and African-American Studies, as well as enrolled in the Honors Program, at Averett University. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Eben plans to attend law school, hopefully at the Marshall-Wythe Law School at William and Mary, with an end goal of being nominated and confirmed to the Supreme Court as Chief Justice.
Eben likes to keep himself very busy! Currently, he is the Accountability Chair of the Bonner Leadership Program at Averett University for the 2023-2024 school year. Eben also serves as the Bonner Leader for his favorite non-profit, United Way of Danville-Pittsylvania County. He is also very active in Phi Theta Kappa, the most prestigious and internationally recognized honor society for the two-year college. Currently, he is the President of the Phi Theta Kappa Virginia/West Virginia Alumni Association Executive Committee, as well as the Virginia/West Virginia Liaison to the Alumni Advisory Board. Not only does he write for passion, but he also writes for a living. At Averett, he is the Manager and Co-editor of the school’s arts magazine, the Ember, and is part of the Questions Editorial Team for Faith on View, an independent Christian news and media outlet. But above all, he enjoys his time at home doing homework, reading, writing, and relaxing with his dachshund son, Adam!
While his first collection of prose and poetry is very modest, he has faith that God will ensure that this book will find the people and do the work that it is meant to do. He hopes that you enjoy and that you anticipate his future works!
